Andreas Lentakis was an underground leftwing fighter who was jailed, tortured during the Greek military dictatorship (1967-1974). Mikis Theodorakis wrote several songs about him as a hero of the left-wing underground.

Another typical song is "Ímaste dió, ímaste trís" (which will be up in a couple of days).

Andreas Lentakis va ser un lluitador militant de l'esquerra qui va ser empresonat i torturat durant la dictadura dels militars a Grècia (1967-1974). Mikis Theodorakis va escriure diverses cançons sobre ell com un heroi de militància de l'esquerra.

Una altra cançó molt típica és "Ímaste dió, ímaste trís" (que penjaré en uns dies).
